One Direction say new album is "way better" than 'Up All Night'

One Direction have revealed that their forthcoming new album 'Take Me Home' is "miles" different than their debut and is better as a result.

The British pop group released their successful maiden album 'Up All Night' in 2011 and they will follow that up with their new record on November 12.

The Sun quotes Niall Horan as saying that 'Take Me Home' is more "live-sounding" than their first album, with the drums in particular becoming more prominent.

And he reckons that the record is better than 'Up All Night'. The Irishman said:

"It's a million miles away from our old album. It's a bit more of a live-sounding album. The drums are a bit harder."

Horan continued: "When you make a second album, I think the thing to do is outdo your first one and personally I think we've done that. It's way better."
