Former Disney starlet Miley Cyrus has done an amazing job with her character on Two and a Half Men according to cast member Jon Cryer, who plays the role of Alan Harper on the show.

Speaking from backstage at last night's (September 23) Emmy Awards, where he won the Lead Actor in a Comedy prize, he praised the 'Can't Be Tamed' hitmaker for her professionalism and ability to put all of her energy into a new and unfamiliar project, telling HollywoodLife.com:

"She plays a motor-mouth character [on her episode of Two and a Half Men], so they gave her page-long monologues. She was lovely, and we had a great time. All week, she was on book … which is understandable."

"But even when we got within two hours of the show, she was still on book. … We were thinking, ‘Oh no, Miley better bring it!’ And then we did it in front of the audience, and Miley brought it! Miley was just on fire and fantastic."
