Lawson on 'Chapman Square' tracklisting: 'We visited its namesake and everything fell into place'

'Standing In The Dark' hitmakers Lawson have admitted that selecting the final tracklisting for their debut studio album was something that just 'fell into place easily'.

Speaking to Capital FM about their first record, entitled 'Chapman Square', the lads explained that they visited its namesake in London and from there everything started to make sense:

"It wasn't that difficult really. We were doing some filming in Chapman Square, which is the place that the album's name after, and we thought it would be quite fitting to decide on the final tracklisting there and then."

"We sat in Chapman Square and we played the tracks – we played the start of it and the end of it running into the next song – and they seemed to just fall into place really easily."

Bassist Ryan Fletcher added: "It was more of a case that they just laid themselves out. We played them to see which ones led into the next one the best and to fit the story of 'Chapman Square'. It was so natural."
