Florence + the Machine and Kasabian signed items up for charity auction

Memorabilia from this year's Leeds Festival will go under the hammer next month to raise money for a children's hospital.

'Shake It Out' songstress Florence Welch signed a drum skin and Kasabian have covered a keyboard with their autographs, and both lots are due to go up for auction on October 5.

Other items to be included in the auction will be a set of drumsticks used by The Cribs and a signed setlist from The Cure, which was taken from their recent performance at Reading Festival.

Speaking about their involvement, Kasabian said in a statement: "We salute the people of Martin House, and contributing something to help them raise some funds is of course something we didn’t hesitate about, we commend them on all their great work and dedication over the years, make sure you bid for a bit of Reading and Leeds history..."

Money raised from the auction, which will take place on eBay, will be donated to Martin House Children's Hospice in Leeds, England.
