PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ tops UK chart

PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ has today become the first ever Korean single to top the UK chart.

The electro house track, which entered the charts at No.37 a fortnight ago, climbed two places to knock The Script & will.i.am’s ‘Hall of Fame’ from pole position.

Flo Rida’s ‘I Cry’ rose to No.3, Taylor Swift’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ reached a new peak of No.4, while Ne-Yo’s ‘Let Me Love You’ dropped to No.5.

Elsewhere, there were new entries for DJ Fresh’s 'The Feeling' (No.13), Paloma Faith’s cover of INXS’ 'Never Tear Us Apart' (No.16) and Taylor Swift's 'Begin Again' (No.30) and climbs for Conor Maynard’s 'Turn Around,' (No.9) Mumford & Sons’ 'I Will Wait' (No.12) and Professor Green’s 'Avalon' (No.29).
