Teen sensation Justin Bieber has slammed X Factor USA for inviting him to be a guest mentor during the judges' houses round because he was "used for ratings" and nothing else.

The 'As Long As You Love Me' superstar appeared as the guest of full-time panelist LA Reid (pictured below) to help him choose his final contestants, but posted a message to his official Twitter page in the early hours of this morning that expressed his annoyance with the situation: "Heard we got used for ratings according to twitter and we arent even on until tomorrow? @xfactorusa could of just told us."

He quickly moved on from the bad feelings, however, and added: "focusing on the good stuff. I LOVE BEING ON TOUR!! I LOVE SEEING ALL THE FANS!! I LOVE PERFORMING AND SHARING THE MUSIC WITH THEM!! I LOVE MUSIC!! IM HAPPY!!"
