Van Halen bassist: "One Direction were d*ckheads to me"

The bassist of veteran rockers Van Halen has attacked One Direction after the pop group allegedly insulted him in a hotel.

Wolfgang Van Halen, who is the son of guitarist Eddie, called the 'One Thing' act "d*ckheads" in a rant on Twitter yesterday (October 16).

He said that the former X Factor contestants abused him and two other musicians in a hotel lobby in Birmingham.

Van Halen tweeted: "Fun fact: Was just insulted by that sh*tty boy band #OneDirection in the lobby of our hotel this morning! Greetings Birmingham! No joke. That ACTUALLY happened. That group of kids in #OneDirection were dickheads to @IIEROCKII @GWDrums and I.

He continued: "They must call themselves that because all of their hair points in #OneDirection."
