One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has admitted that it is tough being away from his girlfriend for so long whilst on tour.

The 20-year-old has been dating Eleanor Calder for some time but he is regularly out of the UK.

He's one of only two members of the band who are currently in a relationship - the other being Zayn Malik - but it seems like Tomlinson and Calder are finding a way to make things work.

Speaking to heat magazine, the 'One Thing' man said that they try and find ways to see each as often as they can, despite their busy schedules. He said:

"I find it really hard to be away from Eleanor, but we see each other as much as we can."

As previously reported, One Direction have announced that their forthcoming new single will be called 'Little Things', with the song the second to be taken off of upcoming album 'Take Me Home'.
