Leona Lewis reveals Faithless inspiration on new album

Leona Lewis has praised dance icons Faithless and revealed that they have influenced her new album.

The former X Factor winner released her new album 'Glassheart' on October 12 and she told the Daily Star that she looked to Faithless on one of the record's songs.

The singer said that she loves the "syncopated" effect of dance music and added that her song 'Come Alive' was dubstep influenced. Lewis said:

"I love Faithless and what they've done - drum and bass stuff that's really heavy and dirty. My track 'Come Alive' is definitely dubstep-influenced."

She continued: "Because it's so syncopated it's very powerful and has an effect on you."
