Courtney Love working on Nirvana 'musical or Broadway play'

Britney Spears's ex-manager, Sam Lufti, has revealed that he's been working on ideas for a project about iconic grunge band Nirvana with Courtney Love.

Lufti (pictured left) is currently in court testifying against Spears and he is suing both the singer and her parents for breach of contract, libel and unpaid management fees, but after the testimony he opened up about collaborating with Love and explained that the project will be based around her married life with the band's frontman Kurt Cobain:

"[Courtney Love and I] are currently working on a possible motion picture or Broadway musical based on the Nirvana catalogue, based on her life and Kurt Cobain's."

When asked if he was able to elaborate on their creative plans, Lufti said: "It's an idea. I'm sorry. I can't say anything more."

Meanwhile, Love has been working on new music and recently described her forthcoming new single as "probably the greatest rock song I've ever heard."
