Eminem and Jay-Z on Barack Obama's iPod

US President Barack Obama has revealed some of the music on his iPod.

The Democrat has often been noted as a fan of music and has previously published a Spotify playlist, featuring surprise choices like Wilco and No Doubt.

Speaking to WIZF, Obama has revealed some of the names on his iPod, from old favourites such as Stevie Wonder to newer acts like Eminem. He said:

"I've got old school – Stevie Wonder, James Brown.  I've got Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan. And then I've got everything from Jay-Z, to Eminem, to the Fugees, to you name it. There's probably not a group that you play that I don't have on my iPod."

Obama continued: "I've got some jazz - John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Gil Scott-Heron. You've got to mix it up. It just depends on what mood I'm in."

As previously reported, Katy Perry recently performed at an Obama rally in Las Vegas ahead of the presidential vote on November 6, where he will go head-to-head with Republican Mitt Romney.
