Ed Sheeran explains Taylor Swift 'Red' tattoo

Ed Sheeran has given the reason why he got the title of Taylor Swift's new album 'Red' tattooed on his arm.

The singer-songwriter collaborated with Swift on the track 'Everything Has Changed' for the album, which has topped the US charts with 1.2 million sales in its first week.

Sheeran was recently announced to support the country-pop star on her 2013 North America tour and he was later pictured with the word 'Red' emblazoned on his left arm.

He told MTV that he likes to get inked to commemorate milestones and Sheeran believes that the 'Red' tour will come to be an important part of his musical career. He said:

"I get tattoos for landmarks. When my album came out all around the world I got the world tattooed. If I'm going to be on tour with this album for six months, I thought that would be quite a big part of my life."
