'Gangnam Style' Psy to speak at Oxford Union

Internet sensation Psy has been booked to speak at the Oxford Union.

The Korean rapper and singer has become a global star in recent months after his track 'Gangnam Style' sparked a new dance craze and topped charts.

He has done the promotional rounds on television shows across the world but he is now due to give a talk at the illustrious university's debating chamber on November 7.

Psy is expected to open up about the hype surrounding the song and its dance craze. Union spokesman Finbar McLoughlin commented:

"We're expecting the chamber to be full to capacity to hear what Psy has to say. It's great for our members to be able to welcome someone who has had a huge impact on life in such a short space of time."

Due to its expected popularity, the event is for members only and applicants will be selected via a random ballot.
