Jay-Z: "Emeli Sandé has the talent to be big in America"

Jay-Z has heaped praise on Emeli Sandé and hinted towards a duet between the Scottish star and his wife Beyoncé.

The 'Next To Me' singer has engineered a strong reputation in the past couple of years as a talented songwriter and performer, with her debut album 'Our Version of Events' hitting No.1 in the UK charts.

The Daily Star quotes Roc Nation mainman Jay-Z as saying that Sandé is on course to break America, hinting that a blockbuster collaboration could be on the cards. He said:

"Emeli has the talent to be big in America, no doubt. She has a unique sound and she is going to be a big deal. There is a great tone to her voice. She is going to sell a lot of records. I read it's her dream to work with Bey and all I can say is you never know."

The rapper added: "You have to be extraordinary to break into the US. If the talent is there, it can be done. Adele is proof of that."
