Singers Taylor Swift, P!nk and Kelly Clarkson are helping to fight global hunger by auctioning off some signed instruments for a well-known charity.

The ladies have each donated autographed guitars (pictured below) as part of the WhyHunger foundation's annual Hungerthon auction and each lot will run until next month (December '12).

Other items that are set to go under the hammer include a signed piano bench that was donated by Tori Amos, a band-autographed Fender Stratocaster guitar from Mumford & Sons and a Jason Aldean-signed football.

The organisation is aiming to raise a staggering $850,000 (£531,250), which will in turn provide food for impoverished families around the world and interested fans can place their bids and view other lots at http://bit.ly/T3A0kc.
