Goldie unveils art ahead of exhibition: 'Prince Harry has asked for some of my work'

Drum 'n' bass star Goldie has revealed a series of paintings that will feature in his brand new art exhibition.

He will be showing off his work as part of the No Imitation project at Imitate Modern in London's Marylebone from December 6, and one of his pieces is a pop-art tribute to the Queen, which he explained has attracted interest and praise from Prince Harry:

"I painted a single petal of a rose to celebrate the Queen's jubilee. Prince Harry's seen it and it's an honour that he's requested one of his own."

Other pieces of his work that will be in the collection include semi-nude women and call-girl calling cards (shown below). Referring to his royal painting, Goldie added that he was inspired to create it after hearing Duke Ellington's 'Queen's Suite', a piece written and recorded especially for Queen Elizabeth II.
