Carly Rae Jepsen: "I'd never write bitter break-up songs"

Canadian songstress Carly Rae Jepsen insists she'd never pen a song after a break-up like Taylor Swift so famously does.

The 'Call Me Maybe' star was asked if she has "ever Taylor Swift-ed a boyfriend?" by Cosmopolitan magazine, which they clarified as "written a song about him to get even."

Jepsen answered "no" and explained her reasons:

"In a relationship, it's very rarely just one person's fault. For me, it's never like 'You a**hole!' it's more like, 'When did we change sides?'

She added: "I've been really lucky so far. I can look back at someone I've dated and say it may not have been a match for the long-term, but it was never a bad decision."

Jepsen catapulted to fame thanks to the backing of chart-topping superstar Justin Bieber. In the interview the singer admitted she never tires of talking about the heartthrob.

She revealed: "I never get tired of being asked about him. I'm forever indebted to him for the lovely boost that he's given me."
