Video footage has emerged of Taylor Swift and One Direction's Harry Styles enjoying time together in the US.

The pair were seen over the weekend in a New York's Central Park after weeks of rumours linking the pair together.

Video can now be seen of the musical duo getting into a car as fans run up to Swift and Styles to get a photo taken.

The country-pop singer, however, has been subject to online wrath from One Direction fans, who have assumed the pair are now dating.

One Twitter user said: "Are u kidding me? taylor swift and harry styles??? U STAY AWAY FROM MY MAN TAY TAYYYYYY."

Some tweets show, however, that some are keen on the pair finding romance. One tweet reads: "Congratulations on getting such a great man like Harry! He deserves someone like you <3."

The term 'Haylor' has been used to name the pair and the word is now a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.
