Ed Sheeran refused to deny reports that his friends Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are dating.

Strong rumours surrounding the pair have circulated since the weekend after they were snapped enjoying time together at New York's Central Park.

Swift was then seen attending One Direction's Madison Square Garden aftershow party on Monday (December 3) before she was photographed seemingly holding Styles' hands on the way to her hotel in the early hours of the morning.

Sheeran, who performed a 'Little Things' cameo with One Direction at Monday's gig, has close links with both artists and was asked about the pair's reported romance whilst on US TV.

However, he merely replied: "That's what the papers are saying".

He then smiled suggestively and nodded for a few seconds before host Katie Couric moved onto another subject.
