Girls Aloud admit to needing lyric sheets

Girls Aloud have revealed that they have struggled to remember their lyrics.

The pop group reformed recently to celebrate their tenth anniversary, with the group performing at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at the weekend.

However, it seems that the quintet needed a little help as they got back into the swing of playing their songs live.

Speaking to The Sun, the girls revealed that they needed to use lyric sheets to rejig their hazy memory. Cheryl Cole said:

"In rehearsals I was singing Kimberley's lines and she was like, 'Cheryl, you don't sing that' and I was like, 'I'm sorry'."

Bandmate Kimberley Walsh added: "We needed lyric sheets for every single song - it was so funny."

Girls Aloud played a number of their hits at Capital FM's Christmas event, ending with the recently released track 'Something New'.
