McFly: "Working with One Direction is a privilege"

McFly have waxed lyrical about writing songs for One Direction.

The British quartet have penned two tracks for the global stars - 'I Want' for their debut album 'Up All Night' and 'I Would' for their latest effort, 'Take Me Home'.

Speaking to MTV, Tom Fletcher said that it is an honour to work for such massive albums and such a successful band. He said:

"It's a privilege being able to work with them, it's amazing as their albums are absolutely huge and we are getting to write songs on two of the biggest albums of the last few years."

Bandmate Danny Jones added: "We're lucky that the boys wanted to work with us, it's amazing."

McFly meanwhile recently revealed that they are interested in writing more material for One Direction in the future.
