X Factor's James Arthur: "I'm not going to sleep with everything that moves"

X Factor winner James Arthur claims he won't sleep around despite his new-found fame.

The singer won the reality TV show on Sunday (December 9), beating off competition from Jahmene Douglas.

With his quick rise to fame, it is easy to imagine that he won't be short of female admirers - but Arthur isn't looking to entertain a plethora of women as he focuses on his career. He told the Mirror:

"I like women and I treat them nicely. I don't know if I'm any good at flirting but I try. It has looked like I have been a serial sh***** since I have been on the show but I have been out twice and there were two occasions when I indulged in some female adulation. And that was just me blowing off some steam."

He continued: "I have been in relationships for years and been a girlfriend kind of guy. Where I sit with women is I would like a serious relationship – everyone wants to be in love. I am not looking to go and sleep with everything that moves. I am going to concentrate on my career."

Arthur also revealed that he needs to hit the gym to work off weight he put on at the X Factor canteen.

He added: "[I used to live] off a burger a day, that's all I could afford. I was happy with that but I've over-indulged since being here. The canteen food is free so I was like, 'Yeah, bring it on'."

Arthur's X Factor winner's single 'Impossible' went on sale digitally straight after he won the show, instantly hitting No.1 on the UK iTunes.
