The singer was a hit on the reality show, with original tracks like 'Last Night (Beer Fear)' captivating the public.

The 2012 Google Zeitgeist data has revealed that she was the most searched for music artist in the UK over the last twelve months, with the Military Wives and will.i.am taking the second and third spots respectively.

At fourth and fifth place on the list are Emeli Sandé and Psy, whose global hit 'Gangnam Style' became a viral smash worldwide.

In fact, his famous track title was the tenth most searched for term in the UK this year.
