Justin Bieber's manager: "His safety is paramount"

Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun has revealed his team take "every precaution" to protect the teenage superstar after an alleged murder plot against him has come to light.

Yesterday (December 12) it was reported that a convicted murderer had recruited a fellow inmate to help him carry out a plot to kill and castrate the Canadian singer.

Speaking out about the alleged attack - which he neither confirmed or denied - Braun revealed that Bieber's well-being is top of his team's priority list.

He told Us Weekly: "We take every precaution to protect and ensure the safety of Justin and his fans."

According to the KRQE, Dana Martin, who is currently serving two life sentences in New Mexico, recruited a fellow convict at the state prison to take down Bieber at his Madison Square Garden concert in New York City in November, before their plan was thwarted by police.
