Lady Gaga angers PETA again with Russian fur purchases

Pop icon Lady Gaga recently enjoyed a spot of shopping while on tour in Russia, but her festive purchases have angered animal rights organisation PETA.

The 'Born This Way' superstar was seen buying a dark brown Barguzin Russian sable coat, which she wore out of the store after the expensive transaction had been processed, and PETA has weighed in on her "out of her mind" behaviour.

In a statement issued to Gossip Cop, a spokesperson for the charity explained: "Out of place, out of time, and possibly out of her mind: While the country focuses on rejecting violence and we are deep into the season of peace, giving, and kindness, Gaga is busy decking herself out in a coat made of at least 30 slaughtered animals' skins."

Back in September, Gaga made headlines after stepping out in a fox stole, which resulted in PETA branding her 'heartless' and calling her out for originally saying she would never wear fur because it's unethical.
