Harry Styles reveals end of world wish

One Direction's Harry Styles doesn't want to be working if the world ends tomorrow.

There are suggestions there will be an apocalypse on Friday thanks to the Mayans and their 'Long Count Calendar,' which is set to complete a major cycle on December 21.

When asked how he'll be spending his perhaps final day on the planet, teenage heartthrob Styles complained: "I think we're working on that day, if it happens. And I don't want to be working!"

British break-out star Ed Sheeran was quick to refute claims that December 21 will be the final day on Earth.

He told MTV News: "Can I just point out something? Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar, created months for themselves, August and July, so they put two months into the Mayan Calendar.

He added: "The Mayan Calendar ends in 2012, but two months were added to it, so it should have ended around 30 years ago; so all this world-ending stuff is complete bulls**t."
