The likes of Adele and One Direction have seen their songs become some of the most sung tracks at karaoke over the last year.

Information collated by karaoke company Lucky Voice shows that Adele's 'Someone Like You' was the most requested song of 2012.

Out of the 3.1 million songs in their catalogue, the '21' track was picked by wannabe singers 7.4% of the time.

Carly Rae Jepsen's smash hit 'Call Me Maybe' was the second most popular track, with One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful' at No.3.

Other acts popular with karaoke goers this year include Gotye, as well as classic acts such as Queen, Bon Jovi and Journey.
