Leona Lewis single "fails to make UK top 200"

Leona Lewis's new single hasn't made the top 200 in the UK singles chart, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper reports that the song 'Lovebird', which is the second track lifted off her record 'Glassheart', has failed to make an impact on the charts.

They say the 200th placed single only sold 600 copies - meaning that the former X Factor winner sold less.

That means it is her worst ever chart performance, with radio stations said to have given the track little airplay.

Lewis meanwhile was linked strongly to One Direction singer Liam Payne when he announced that he had broken up with girlfriend Danielle Peazer earlier this year.

However, it seems Payne has reconciled with Peazer in recent weeks after being seen together in the US.

Lewis's 'Glassheart' was released in the UK in October in the UK and landed at No.3 in the charts.
