It was announced earlier this month that judge LA Reid has decided not to return for the next season of X Factor USA and he has now suggested a replacement.

Speaking to HollywoodLife.com about his newly confirmed departure, the music mogul explained that Bajan beauty Rihanna would be perfect to fill his shoes with her fiesty personality and experience in the industry:

"I think Rihanna should fill my spot, so that I have a reason to watch."

Reid made a big impact on the rest of the show's panel and after his last appearance on the show, fellow judge Demi Lovato tweeted:

"I'm really really really gonna miss working with @la_reid. So many laughs and inside jokes.. Truly blessed to know you LA. Love you so much."
