British boyband The Wanted are gearing up to release two new albums next year.

The chart-topping stars - comprising of Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Max George and Tom Parker - have had a hugely successful 2012 with their hit records 'Battleground' and 'The Wanted EP.'

The five-piece hope to continue pleasing their fans and making hit tunes in 2013.

In an interview with Billboard Parker revealed:  "I think we're going to do two albums, one in April and one towards the end of the year, because we've written quite a lot of songs this year. We didn't get to release one at this end of this year so it's probably going to squeeze to next year, hopefully."

The Wanted were expected to release a full-length album 'Third Strike' this fall after their self-titled EP was released, however the record  was pushed back from the original release date, with McGuiness explaining:  "It was meant to be this Christmas, but it wasn't ready yet so… we're thinking around April, we'll have something ready."
