James Arthur returns to top of the charts

X Factor champion James Arthur has returned to the top of the charts with his winner's single 'Impossible'.

After winning the 2012 series, Arthur's debut release hit No.1 in the UK singles chart.

However, it was usurped by the Justice Collective's Hillsborough charity single 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' when the Christmas No.1 was announced last Sunday (December 23).

Arthur has now returned to the top spot.

will.i.am's single 'Scream & Shout' featuring Britney Spears is up one place to No. 2, while PSY's 'Gangnam Style' has jumped three places to No. 3 after 19 weeks in the charts.

The Justice Collective's charity single has dropped four places to No. 5, while Olly Murs' former No. 1 'Troublemaker' has moved three places to the No. 4 spot.

Taylor Swift's catchy 'I Knew You Were Trouble' has moved up one place to No. 7 while Rihanna's Diamonds is up two places at No.8.
