JLS star Marvin Humes has revealed that he wants to be "dad mates" with Prince William.

The singer is a dad-in-waiting after wife Rochelle Humes got pregnant earlier this year.

Speaking to Now magazine, the 'Hottest Girl In The World' man said that he is looking to be a very active father, helping out where possible.

He joked that he might even get in contact with Prince William, who is also set to have a child, for advice. Humes said:

"I'm so excited to be a dad - we both can't wait. I'm going to be hands-on, changing the nappies. I'll get stuck in!"

He added: "Prince Wills and I could be dad mates, texting to exchange our tips."
