Sean Paul sued for £50m by ex-girlfriend

'She Doesn't Mind' hitmaker Sean Paul has been slapped with a lawsuit courtesy of his ex-girlfriend, Susanne Persson.

The woman filed the papers late last month at Manhattan Supreme Court claiming that Paul had her illegally deported from Jamaica, which drove her to then attempt suicide.

In the documents, Persson alleges: "I had tried to kill myself, losing more than one litre of blood from a cut on my wrist. I had shown the pictures of the cuts to Sean over the Internet. I feel he should see what he had caused."

She also claimed that Paul bribed police to have her kicked out of the country and removed back to her native Sweden, an allegation that his attorney Tom Taveres-Finson denied to the New York Post: "He would not have the power to do that."

She is seeking $80 million (£50 million) in damages and at the time of press, Paul had declined to comment.
