Pop diva Cher could be making a return to TV screens.

It was announced on Saturday (January 5) that the iconic singer has signed a development deal with Logo.

Not many details were given during the statement at the Television Critics Association, but the network hinted that Cher is working on a pilot script which is set to revolve around Hollywood in the early 1960s.

It is also unknown what the 66-year-old star's involvement on-screen will be at this point.

Cher is famed for starring on 'The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour' alongside then-husband Sonny Bono and CBS variety show 'Cher' during the 70s.

Both shows - which featured famous musical guests - amassed a loyal following.
