Dappy due in court on affray charge

Dappy is set to appear in court today over allegations that he was involved in a fight at a petrol station.

The rapper was arrested on March 12 last year after three men were left with serious injuries following an alleged fight at a petrol station in Guildford, Surrey on February 28, 2011.

He is due to face Guildford Crown Court today (January 7) on a charge of affray alongside three co-defendants - Kieran Patrick Vassell, 24, of Hammersmith, west London; Kalonji David Stewart, 31, of Harborne, Birmingham; and Alfred James Miller, 27, of Brentford, west London.

Dappy took to Twitter today to thank his fans for their support, whilst uploading a photo of himself on his way to the hearing. He added the caption: "Court :-(."
