Conor Maynard says meeting rapper Drake would reduce him to tears

British hitmaker Conor Maynard has admitted that there's one instance where he would probably be incredibly starstruck and despite being concerned that he might cry, he is desperate to meet Drake.

Speaking to MTV News about his admiration for the Canadian rap sensation, the 'Vegas Girl' singer explained that he has so much respect for him as an artist and a writer, and hopes they one day could collaborate:

"I went through a massive phase of just listening to Drake's music. I was just a massive fan of his music, and the way he writes is just incredible. He makes such simple, relatable tracks that work so cleverly. It's so weird how he writes."

"If I ever got the chance to work with him or got to meet him, I think it would be one of those moments where it's like, 'Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry.' It would be crazy. I definitely look up to him as an artist."

Maynard's debut album 'Contrast' was released in the USA today (January 8) and he celebrated the achievement with a live performance on Good Morning America.
