Jessie J has hit one of her fears head-on by swimming in a pool on the top of a tall skyscraper building.

The singer has been keeping fans updated with her travels on Instagram as she spends some time in Singapore.

She posted a series of terrifying photos of herself and friend Alisha Dobson in a swimming pool metres and metres up into the air.

A caption on Twitter for one of the photos reads:

"Facing my fears with @alishadobson #heights. I did it."

Jessie J meanwhile told fans on Twitter that she is finding herself using her account on the micro-blogging website less and less due to negativity, with the singer choosing Instagram more often. She said:

"I do like instagram. Twitter is great. Just very negative a lot of the time these days. So I'm not on it as much :)."
