50 Cent scores midweek No.1 with new single 'My Life'

Rap heavyweight 50 Cent has stormed the charts in today's (January 16) midweek update with his new single 'My Life', which has debuted at No.1.

The track, which also features Eminem and Maroon 5's Adam Levine, will be Fiddy's first UK chart-topping single if it remains in its current position until Sunday when the UK Top 40 is confirmed.

Will.i.Am and Britney Spears' collaboration, 'Scream & Shout', has dropped a place to No.2 and Justin Timberlake's long-awaited comeback, entitled 'Suit & Tie', has entered at No.3. Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' and Rihanna's 'Stay' are now at 4 and 5 respectively.

Rockers Biffy Clyro have made an appearance at No.11 with 'Black Chandelier', Ne-Yo has a new entry at 33 with 'Forever Now', and Flo Rida's 'Let It Roll' has joined the race at No.36.
