X Factor's Rylan Clark: 'I'd prefer a straight child'

Flamboyant singer Rylan Clark, who took part in the last season of The X Factor, has confessed that if he had a child and he could choose it's sexual preference, he would want it to be straight.

During a conversation recorded in the Celebrity Big Brother house, in which Clark is currently living as a contestant, he was overheard discussing gay adoption with fellow housemate Ryan Moloney (known for his role as Toadfish in 'Neighbours') and explained that being gay is difficult so he would prefer his own children not to deal with it:

"Personally, I'd rather have a straight child."

He continued that "being gay is not a choice", but admitted that he would have pushed the "straight button" for himself if there had been such a thing. Clark added: "I'd be banging the f**k out of that button."
