Girls Aloud ticket demand drops

Unwanted tickets for Girls Aloud's upcoming reunion tour are being sold online for under face value, it has been revealed.

The pop group announced late last year that they would be reforming for a 10th anniversary UK and Ireland tour in February and March.

Demand and excitement for the arena dates was high after the initial announcement, but ticket marketplace website viagogo say that desire for briefs has declined dramatically.

Spokesperson Ed Parkinson revealed in a statement that people are selling unwanted tickets for as much as £11.50 under face value. He said:

"The last time Girls Aloud toured we saw unrivalled ticket demand, so we're really surprised to see tickets now trading for less than their face value."

The statement continues: "However, we're sure pop fans who want to wish the girls a final farewell will jump at this chance of a last-minute bargain."

As previously reported, Girls Aloud member Kimberley Walsh recently admitted that being in the group is a "breeze" due to the sharing of responsibility.
