X Factor's James Arthur: 'Fans still freak me out'

2012's X Factor winner James Arthur has revealed that he still isn't used to having fans despite rising to fame so quickly.

The singer and musician told ITN that he often gets hoards of fans flocking around him when he's out for a night on the town or shopping and it's always a strange experience:

"It freaks me out a little bit. There were loads of them singing 'Impossible' outside my friend's today and I was like, 'What? It's freezing cold, go home'."

When asked if he has ever been mobbed by fans, Arthur added: "I wouldn't say mobbed, I can handle myself. There's 20, 30 girls. It's fine."

Earlier this week, he tweeted about his respect for former X Factor mentor Nicole Scherzinger: "Any time I catch a glimpse of my video for impossible i always really miss @NicoleScherzy best mentor/women I've ever met #LOVE"
