fun. recall "dream-like" Inauguration show

fun. have revealed performing at US President Barack Obama's Inauguration was a "crazy" experience that wasn't ever on the "list of dreams" they had drawn up.

The 'We Are Young' hitmakers - comprising Nate Reuss, Jack Antonoff and Andrew Dost - took to the stage at the 57th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony alongside artists including Kelly Clarkson and Beyoncé.

Antonoff says the show was the ultimate career highlight.

He gushed to MTV News: "The idea of being nominated for Grammys or selling out big shows or having platinum albums or whatever, those are impossibly far off dreams, but they're still in the arena of dreams that exist when you have a band.

He added: "Playing at the Inaugural Ball, that's not something most artists get to do, it's a crazy, once-in-a-lifetime experience. And I think that might have been the first experience that we've had together where it's like 'Well, this wasn't even on the list of dreams we had.'"
