Frank Ocean has injured his hand in an alleged fight with Chris Brown.

The 'Channel Orange' rapper took to Twitter to reveal that he cut his finger after being "jumped by Chris" - with TMZ and a number of news sources reporting the person in question is Chris Brown.

Ocean tweeted: "Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there. cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys."

TMZ reports that the pair were involved in a brawl outside the Westlake recording studio in Los Angeles.

They say associates of the pair were involved in the alleged fight, but neither party will press charges.

The website reports that police attended the scene and no arrests have been made.
