Union J to release single in June

Union J have confirmed that they have penned a record deal with RCA.

The boyband previously announced that they were due to team up with Sony after leaving the X Factor late last year in the live show stage.

They have now confirmed that they have signed a deal with Sony's RCA and that a debut single is set to land in June. Union J said in a statement:

"We are absolutely thrilled to be signed to RCA. Being on X Factor was such a great experience and the perfect way for us to start our musical journey."

They continued: "Hopefully 2013 will an amazing year for us and we cannot wait for everyone to hear our music."

Union J comprise of Jamie Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley, Josh Cuthbert and George Shelley and were eliminated from the X Factor on December 2.
