Veteran musician Mick Fleetwood has lavished praise on Justin Bieber.

The Fleetwood Mac drummer told The Sun that he has been to see the Canadian superstar perform live whilst in the company of his children.

It seems Bieber had a bit of an effect on Fleetwood, who reckon the 'Boyfriend' man is a top notch performer. He said:

"I like Justin Bieber, I've been to see him with my children. I'd say he's probably not going to fade away as much as some people think he might."

He added: "He's a great performer, really savvy in terms of the way he approaches his audience. I thought he was really damn good."

Fleetwood Mac meanwhile recently announced plans to tour North America in the spring as they reissue their classic album 'Rumours'.

They will kick off the tour in Ohio on April 4 before concluding in Sacramento on July 6.
