One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik has been photographed with a bandaged hand following allegations that he cheated on his girlfriend with an Australian waitress.

The news made headlines last week after Courtney Webb came forward and revealed that she slept with the 'Little Things' singer after they met in London and he assured her that he was single.

While neither Malik or his girfriend, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, have spoken publicly about the potentially damaging claims, which were backed up with photo evidence, Malik has been pictured with an injured hand.

Two of his fingers have been taped together and cuts are visible on the young star's knuckles as the rest of his hand is wrapped in a white bandage, although the nature and cause of his injury remains unclear.

Speaking about Malik's supposed infidelity to British newspaper The Sun, Webb explained: "He's an absolute s**t. How dare he - not only to me but to Perrie? As soon as we finished having sex he wanted me out of the house and out of the way. His behaviour was disgusting. He was like, 'Get your clothes on, I’ll get you a taxi' (and) he started pulling the cab firm app up on his phone. He treated me like an object.”
