The New York Post has reported that pop icon Lady Gaga went on a foul-mouthed rant against her ex-assistant, Jennifer O’Neill, who sued her in 2011 for unpaid wages.

The newspaper explains that legal papers were filed against the 'Born This Way' superstar two years ago as she owes O'Neill more than $393,000, plus damages for 7,168 hours of unpaid overtime.

The publication obtained a transcript from Gaga's six-hour testimony in a Midtown Manhattan law office, which sees the singer criticise O'Neill for behaving like "the queen of the universe" and describe her as a "f--king hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn."

The Post quotes Gaga as saying: "She’s just — she thinks she’s just like the queen of the universe. And, you know what, she didn’t want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, I’m the queen of the universe every day. Are you going to stare at me like a witch this whole time — honestly? Because this is going to be a long f--king day that you brought me here.”

She also told one of O’Neill’s lawyers, Paul Millus, that she had no trouble recalling the events that led to the case, adding: "No, no, no. Listen, listen, sir, if you’re going to ask me questions for the next five hours, I am going to tell you exactly what f--king happened, so that the judge can read on this transcript exactly what’s going on.”

Gaga confessed that O'Neill “knew exactly what she was getting into, and she knew there was no overtime, and I never paid her overtime the first time I hired her, so why would she be paid overtime the second time? This whole case is bulls--t, and you know it.”

"I’m quite wonderful to everybody that works for me, and I am completely aghast to what a disgusting human being that you have become to sue me like this,” she continued.

“Because she slept in Egyptian cotton sheets every night, in five-star hotels, on private planes, eating caviar, partying with [photographer] Terry Richardson all night, wearing my clothes, asking YSL [Yves Saint Laurent] to send her free shoes without my permission, using my YSL discount without my permission.”
