Frank Ocean: "I forgive Chris Brown"

Singer Frank Ocean has decided not to press charges against Chris Brown after a "brawl" erupted between the pair last weekend.

The two music stars were involved in a fight outside the Westlake recording studio in Los Angeles last Sunday.

No arrests were made after the confrontation, but Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve revealed afterwards that Ocean was "desirous of prosecution in this incident."

However, the singer has now decided to forgive Brown.

In a post of his official blog, Ocean wrote: "As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."

Brown - who is on an ongoing probation as a result of his 2009 felony plea for assault on Rihanna - was spotted with a cast on his hand several days after the incident.

Ocean took to Twitter shortly after the fight to write: "got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there. cut my finger now I can't play w/two hands at the Grammys (sic)."
