Frank Ocean's producer has claimed that Chris Brown "set up" a brawl with Frank Ocean.

As previously reported, Ocean recently tweeted that he had been "jumped" by Brown in Los Angeles and received an injured hand as a result.

A police investigation was mooted but the 'Channel Orange' man later said he will not press charges against the 'Don't Judge Me' star.

Ocean's producer Michael Uzowuru has now claimed that Brown tried to beat the "living sh**t" out of the rapper after a row broke out over a parking space which was intended for Ocean.

After one of Brown's associates allegedly punched one of Ocean's, a brawl is said to have ensued. "Then instantly Chris and the other dude grab [Frank] and try to jump him. There's no doubt in my mind the whole thing was a set up," said Uzowuru.

He added on his blog: "I don't know what type of demons Chris is facing, but I hope he clears them all and finds a new life rooted in love and light."
