The Saturdays "feel bad" for One Direction's Zayn Malik

The Saturdays "feel bad" for One Direction hunk Zayn Malik and his Little Mix star girlfriend Perrie Edwards after the heartthrob was accused of cheating.

The pair's relationship was under scrutiny recently after an Australian waitress claimed she bedded the singer in London.

Malik and Edwards were said to be on the rocks, but it seems all is well after the couple visited an outdoor zoo in England together earlier this week.

British girlband The Saturdays - who are friends with One Direction - say they feel for the high-profile couple in the wake of the scandal.

Rochelle Humes explained: "They're gonna get that. Sadly it comes with the territory and that's one of the downsides," before Frankie Sandford added: "I feel quite bad for them. Perrie and Zayn, considering One Direction are one of the biggest boybands in the world and Perrie is in Little Mix, you don't actually know much about their relationship. You feel a bit for them.  It's out of their hands."

The Saturdays - also comprising Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Healy - are currently promoting their reality show 'Chasing The Saturdays'.

Sandford has laughed about watching herself on the small screen.

She admitted to Heat radio: "It's one thing watching yourself while you're performing - that's awkward enough. But watching yourself just being you and forgetting the cameras are there it's just weird."

"I'm so much more common than I think I am in my head!"
